Last week we went to the Bendigo Pottery to make our plates. We used powder that looked like paint to paint our plates. We get our plates back on Term 2. Here is a picture of my plate before it will get glazed. When it gets glazed it will give the shiny effect.
The day was amazing and I loved how engaged the kids were. This is my reflection on the Anti Bullying day. The things I enjoyed were watching the BTN and making the links. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like and there isn’t anything that needs to be changed next year. What I learned is that Bullying can lead to Depression, Sucicide, Anger and way more. I hope that everyone learned something on that day. So that is all from me and I will see you all later…
This is all of my Super Mouse Story so I hope you enjoy my story. 😀
Super Mouse By Lach H.
In a abandoned building 10 little mice were hiding in their hole playing poker. 1 mouse was the hero. He could sense danger and ran off the observatory deck. The observatory deck is a torch that is sticking out of the hole. No one could get in that way.
The fat cats came out of their box and kicked a box full of mouse traps. They landed all in front of the hole. The Fat Cats must be planning on tricking them and when they get caught in the mouse traps the cats will eat them. It was a horrible thought but now Super Mouse had to end their reign of terror. But Super Mouse had no powers yet. The only way was the most dangerous way to get powers. The radiation chamber.
He scrambled away from the Observatory deck, (The torch) and ran to the radiation chamber. He got to the entrance and saw that the consequences were losing his legs. It must mean that losing his legs was going to make him fly. He went inside and shut the door. He could feel the power surging through him. He begun to float and and he opened the door and flew towards the Hole.
The fat cats were meowing, coughing up hairballs and rolling on the floor. Super Mouse flew to the leader and said, “I am totally going to beat you.” “You don’t stand a chance Fat Rat. I can sit on you and make you my appetite!” “Wait who are you calling fat?” Said Super Mouse. “You eat literally 20 cans of cat food.” “Thats because I’m hungry.” Said the Fat Cat leader frowning at the flying mouse.
So the battle begun. Super Mouse used his plasma vision and disintegrated 2 cats. Then he flicked a Cat and out came the whole menu of Mcdonald’s. This cat is now a skinny cat and it ran away slowly because it wasn’t used to being skinny. Then Super Mouse kicks a cat into the wall and goes into the mouse’s hole. A mouse says, “Hey we have infinite food!” The rest of the Fat Cats retreat and take ages to get back to the box.
After they go in, Super Mouse uses his Plasma Vision to destroy the Mouse Traps. Then he kicks the box and they fly out of the building and they went far away. After that Super Mouse needs some food so he goes in and he starts grabbing food from the cat.
The Cats never bothered the mice again or they know what they have to face. Super Mouse. As so they thought the cats would never bother them again. The end. For Now.
Hope you enjoyed my story and that is all from me and I will see you all later…
She uses really amazing motivating language in her books. She writes narratives of course and when it is time to change in daily 5 I just want to keep reading it because the author has sucked me into the book. My favourite book series is the Harry Potter series.
In the orientation she gets into real detail about explaining where the story takes place, who the people are and when it is. In the books of Harry Potter she explains Hogwarts extremely well but in every book there is something different and she explains the new look of the buildings. She uses the power to change your emotions during all her books and sometimes they entertain you. She also uses real life experiences to describe things in her books.
I know the Harry Potter series has changing emotions. Every emotion the character is felling is described by a lot of detail. She makes you understand how they are feeling, how they look and even what they are doing in each chapter really well. By changing the theme or way a character talks in each chapter, you know that the chapter is going to be good or bad.
Each time there is a problem, the way it is solved is so detailed. Each step is covered and never leaves you wondering how it happened. My opinion of J.K Rowling is that she writes with such emotion and descriptive language that leaves you always wanting to read more.
A classic game that is easy to learn and play. Monopoly has trading, auctions, jail and loads more stuff. There are different versions of Monopoly such as The Simpsons, Disney, Millionaire, Empire and so much more. Here is a picture of the classic Monopoly board.
Hope you enjoyed this Game of the Week and I will see you all later…
P.S. Tell me in the comments what version of Monopoly you have played.
Yesterday, (Monday) we went to the Bendigo East Aquatic Centre. This will be a reflection on the Swimming Carnival. First off, what I liked, The 25m Freestyle race, Free swimming periods, Novelty events and Lunch time. Next is what I didn’t like and there wasn’t anything I didn’t like but I would like to change stuff if we did it again. Waiting for events. The waiting took too long. More free swimming periods and more teacher events because I think the teachers need a bit more fun.
So that is my reflection on the swimming carnival and I loved that day. I wish I could put photos on but I don’t have any. Thats all from me and I will see you all later…
